Which languages does the app come in?
Spanish, French (Canada and France), German, Brazilian Portuguese, and US, British, Canadian, and Australian English. Whimbrel follows your computer's language, or you can choose one in Settings. On Windows, Settings and the app shell are translated today, and the rest of the app is on its way.
Can my notes be in a different language from the app?
Yes. "Write notes and summaries in" is a separate setting, so you can run the app in English and get summaries in Spanish.
Does Whimbrel transcribe meetings held in other languages?
Yes, on Mac. Turn on "I have meetings in other languages" and Whimbrel detects each meeting's language and transcribes it as spoken, using a larger on-device model. You can also set a meeting's language yourself.
